Tagging using Intersect Selected within a Browse window
Intersect Selected is used to re-focus an existing tagged set down to a specific selection of rows. The resulting list will include only those rows that are both selected and tagged.
To use Intersect Selected:
Within the Data tab, find the schema that contains your data, then right click and select Open Browse
Pick up your tagged set
If you do not already have one: select the rows you want to tag, right click and select Tag Selected
Now select the records you wish to intersect from the tagged set (these could be anything from key sectors to high spending customers etc)
Right click and select Tagging | Intersect Selected
Example: Using Intersect Selected to reduce a list of the top 20 most populated postcode sectors to only those with over 9000 people.
