Freezing columns

When adding many columns to your browse, it can be difficult to see which values relate to which key when scrolling to the right, as the key column will disappear. You can avoid this by freezing key columns so that they always appear on the left of your browse.

To freeze a column:

• Within the Data tab, locate the schema that contains the rows you wish to freeze, then right click and select Open Browse

• Select the column to the right of those that you want to freeze

• Go to Browse the select Freeze

A thick black line will appear to the left of the column you selected. If you scroll to the right, the frozen columns will always remain on the left-hand side of the browse window.
