Quick Calc Tool

This tool enables quick calculations to be performed on records and columns of data within an open browse. It allows calculations to occur on all records, tagged records, or selected records, using various options.

To use Quick Calc:

• Within the Data tab, find the schema you wish to use Quick Calc on, then right click and select Open Browse

• Select or tag the rows that you want to use Quick Calc on (if required)

• Make sure you are in the Browse tab

• Select Quick Calc from the General section

• Choose from the different options available, then select Calculate

Sum Displays the sum of the column

Average Displays the mean average of the column

Std Dev Displays the Standard Deviation figure of the column

Max Displays the highest number of the column

Min Displays the lowest number of the column

Count Displays the number of rows in the column
