Saving a Tagged Set to a new table

InSite users can save tagged sets into a new table. This is useful if you need to do further analysis on a subsection of a main dataset or if you would like to save the geography of a specific area.

NOTE: a saved table cannot be created from any TomTom layers as this infringes the copyright.

  • Open a Browse on your postcode geography

  • Add on the columns you would like in your table and create a tagged set by selecting the rows you want to include and clicking on Tagged Selected

  • Click Save To | Mapped Table within the Browse Tab Tool Bar

  • Make sure the Schema is set to the same as what was used to create the tagged set, and rename the table to suit

  • The new table will now be saved within the same geography schema as it was created.

  • The table can now be opened in a Browse and rows tagged within our subset of data for analysis or map visualisation.
