Editing DriveTimes
Occasionally, you may run a DriveTime that needs to be edited. For example, a DriveTime may expand to an area over the other side of a river which isn’t actually accessible, or if it is, then it is likely the people on the other side aren’t going to want to travel over the water to get to a store.
Note: Once you have edited the DriveTime and saved it, the changes will be permanent. It’s a good idea to make a copy of it just in case something goes wrong. See the tip on copying drivetimes.
To make the DriveTime editable:
Open your map and add on the DriveTime you want to edit and set that layer as the focus layer
Double click on the DriveTime. This will cause the contour to turn red

To edit the shape:
Select one of the nodes (the small red squares) and drag to move it to a new position (it will turn black when you click on it)
If you need to create a new node, click anywhere on the red line and a small black square outline will appear
If you need to delete a node, select it and press the Delete key on your keyboard, or right click on the node and select Delete. A window will appear saying Permanently delete items(s) from object? Select Yes.
You can select more than one node to delete at once by using the Ctrl button on your keyboard. This will turn them black.
BEFORE AFTER

When you are happy with your edits, right click anywhere on the map and select End Editing
Save editing changes? Select Yes
