Rendering: Grouping DriveTimes within the legend

The tip ‘Rendering: Customising DriveTime colours’ detailed how to itemise each DriveTime within the Legend and set the colour.

This tip details how to group DriveTimes within the legend by disabling the ‘Rendering’ function.

If ‘Rendering’ is disabled, the legend will only have one entry for all the DriveTimes displayed within the map window (e.g. 15 minute contour). The DriveTimes will be presented as a single colour which can be amended in the map properties window.

Note: If you want to display all your DriveTimes under one entry within the legend, do not use ‘drag and drop’ to add the layer to the map.

To group DriveTimes within the legend:

• Select the schema containing your DriveTime from the data tab

• Right click and Add Map Layer | Add Layer…

• Select Tagged Set <No Active Tagset>

• Select Advanced Settings

• Rendering - <None>

• Name the Layer appropriately

• Next

• Choose your colour and create
