Showing Tagged Records on a Map

Occasionally you only want to see a selection of records displayed on a map, rather than the whole schema. Creating a tagged set will allow you to do this.

Open a browse window on the schema that contains the data you want on the map.

Then select the records you want and click on Tag Selected under the Browse tab.

• Open your map, and add the layer by dragging the schema onto the map

• Set the layer as the Focus Layer

• Go to the Tagging section of the Maps tab and select Show Tagged Only

• Now choose Position to Tagged and the map will reposition to show the tagged records

The map will show only those records that you tagged

In the map above the schema was dragged on for a second time which will display the labels for this layer and automatically show tagged only.
